2025 Amazon Future Engineer Scholarship

400 Scholarships of up to $40,000 + Internship Opportunities

The Amazon Future Engineer Scholarship helps students interested in computer science, engineering, and robotics with the support of up to $40,000 in college funding and internship opportunities at Amazon.  

Today’s students are tomorrow’s engineers. Amazon is taking action to expand opportunities for students to study engineering and programming and create the diverse tech industry our future requires.   

To apply, students must: 

  • Be a U.S. Citizen, Permanent Resident, or Employment Authorized to work in the United States. 
  • Be high school seniors in the U.S. who are currently enrolled in or who have completed a high school or college dual degree course where computer science, engineering, or robotics is the subject. Students who have not taken this course can opt-in to take an assessment offered by Amazon.  
  • Be planning to attain a bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, computer engineering, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, robotics, or other computer science related field of study from an accredited 4-year college or from a 2-year college with the intent to transfer to a 4-year college. 
  • Have a minimum cumulative grade point average of 2.3 on a 4.0 scale (or its equivalent). 
  • Demonstrate financial need.

Rio Bapst Scholarship

2025 University of Rio Grande Jake Bapst Scholarship

Two Year Full Tuition Scholarship

Eligibility:

  • To be eligible for this 2 year, FULL tuition scholarship, the applicant must be accepted to the University of Rio Grande/Rio Grande Community College for the 2025-2026 academic year.
  • Applicants must attend a high school in the four county (OH) service district of Jackson, Gallia, Meigs and Vinton (including Buckeye Hills Career Center).
  • Submit a copy of your high school transcript and ACT scores.
  • Submit a resume, in correct resume format, listing scholastic achievements, school and community involvement, and/or employment history. 

In addition to the application, please attach a typed 500 word response (double spaced and 12 point font required) to either topic below:

1.) If you were chosen as the recipient of this scholarship, how impactful would this be to your college career? State any special personal or family circumstances affecting your need for financial assistance. 

OR

2.) How do you define success? When you look back on your life in 20 years, what would it take for you to consider your life successful? How does this scholarship fit into your plans for success?

2025 Rumpke Scholarship

Amount: $1,000 (non-renewable)

Eligibility: 

Graduating seniors in Jackson County, Ohio pursuing a two or four year degree at an accredited institution after graduation are eligible.
