Lodwick Creates Portrait
The Memory Project has high school students and teachers create portraits for children around the world who have faced substantial challenges. It is thought to be a way to promote intercultural understanding and kindness around the world. This year the portraits have been sent to Nigeria. This is Brianna Lodwick's second year participating in this project. The Memory Project was recognized during the closing reception at The Visually Literate Show at Shawnee State's Appleton Gallery on May 16th. Smith's Art at SSU
Kylee Smith's art piece "Widow" was chosen to be displayed in the Visually Literate Art Show at Shawnee State University. The show was held at the Appleton Gallery with the closing reception and awards presentation May 16th. 2023 Honor Graduates
Mr. Randy Layton, Principal of Oak Hill High School, has announced the honor graduates for the Class of 2023. The valedictorians of this year’s graduating class are Ms. Holly Barger, Mr. Garren Brown, Ms. Abby Donley, Mr. Aiden Hall, Ms. Abigail Hanning, Ms. Jordan Howard, Ms. Paige Hughes, Ms. Kaydee Johnson, Ms. Amelia Michael, Mr. Reagan Michael, and Mr. Rylan Sams. The salutatorian is Ms. Makayla Dearth.
OHHS Seniors graduated at Davis Stadium on Friday, May 19th.
