Math Team Competes
Oak Hill High School sent a team to compete at the Marshall University Mathematics Competition on May 10, 2016. Pictured (L-R) Carlee Dempsey, Tyler Rice, and Abbi Hubbard. There were 60 competitors from 20 schools vying for cash prizes.
Canter Competes in Boston
Congratulations to Tyler Canter who placed in the top 5 at the BPA State Leadership Conference in the Advanced Spreadsheet contest. He went on to compete at the National Leadership Conference in Boston, MA which was held May 5-9, 2016.
Students Attend BPA Conference
Emma Jordan, Tyler Canter, AJ Meldick, and Michael Hays attended the Business Professionals of America State Leadership Conference in Columbus, Ohio along with their teacher Tammy Roush. Close to 1,700 students competed at this year's SLC.
Art Classes Visit Cincinnati
The Oak Hill High School Advanced Art and Art Production classes traveled to Queen City Clay in Cincinnati for an intensive four-hour day on the potter's wheel. Students had their own pottery wheel, tools, and an unlimited amount of clay. They were able to see an active ceramics studio with professional potters at work. Click photo for larger view.
