There remains a tie at the top! Oak Hill Elementary 3rd grader Charlee Lester (L) and 5th grader Thunder Bolt Boyd (R) have both reached 250 miles in the OHES Walking Oaks Club. Each earned incentives for their amazing achievements. Both students are highly motivated to win, so the competition is getting intense! Great job, Charlee and Thunder Bolt! Congratulations to Oak Hill Elementary 5th grade student Thunder Bolt Boyd for achieving 150 miles walked in the OHES Walking Oaks Club. For his efforts, he received a fitness tracker. Thunder Bolt is tied for the lead for most miles walked among all club members. The Walking Oaks Club is sponsored by The Ohio Valley Bank Company this school year. March 2023
Kids Heart Challenge
Oak Hill Elementary School participated in the American Heart Association Kids Heart Challenge. When students joined the team, they learned how to keep their hearts and brains healthy, get moving with fun activities, meet kids with special hearts and raise funds for the health of all hearts.
