2024 Jackson County Cattlemen's Association Scholarship
In order to help young people, continue their efforts toward becoming self-directing, productive, and contributing members of society, the Jackson County Cattlemen’s Association (JCCA) has established a scholarship, which will be awarded to a deserving young adult. This $500 scholarship is available to a minimum of one Jackson County student who is a graduating high school senior or currently enrolled college student. Previous scholarship winners are not eligible
Criteria for Basis of Award:
The following consideration will be given in the selection of a scholarship recipient:
- He/She should have a 2.5 cumulative GPA in high school or college.
- Consideration will be given toward the participation of the student in civic and co-curricular activities.
- Students should demonstrate an agricultural background and/or involvement in 4-H and/or FFA.
- Preference will be given to students pursuing a degree of an Agricultural nature.
Applicants for a scholarship must complete and submit to the JCCA Board of Directors:
- Completed scholarship application form, typed or legibly printed in black ink
- One portrait in the space provided on the application form.
- One official transcript of grades
- A letter of recommendation

Scholarship Deadline: Application packets must be postmarked on or before May 1, 2024.
Scholarships will be presented at the 2024 Jackson County Fair, recipients will be notified of day and time to attend. Winning recipients will receive their Scholarship check after proof is provided to the association of successful completion of their first semester of higher education.
