Oak Hill Music Honored
Oak Hill Union Local School District has been honored with the Best Communities for Music Education designation from the NAMM Foundation for its outstanding commitment to music education. Oak Hill joins 975 districts across the country in receiving the prestigious award in 2024 and one of 55 in the State of Ohio. This is the ninth consecutive year Oak Hill has been recognized for demonstrating outstanding achievement in efforts to provide music access and education to all students.
Choirs Earn Superior Marks
Congratulations to the Oak Hill 7th/8th Grade Choir and Oak Hill High School Concert Choir for receiving straight Superior Marks from all judges and in sight-reading at OMEA Large Group Contest! The Oak Hill Band and Choir traveled to Orlando, Florida for Universal Resort’s Music In The Parks Competition.
Shrek Cast Promotes Musical
Seniors Taylor Simpson, Megan Bias, Brianna Lodwick, and Bryn Morgan had a unique experience promoting the musical Shrek on local TV and radio.
BPA State Winners
Kenton Michael (L) placed 2nd in Graphic Design Promotion and will advance to BPA National Conference. Madi Donley (R) placed 10th in Prepared Speech.

Men's Ensemble Performs

Smith's Work on Display
OHHS Senior Kylee Smith was chosen to display her digital artwork The Same at the University of Rio Grande's Greer Museum annual Student Art Competition. The show received 163 pieces of artwork from high schools within the region and 77 were chosen to display. Students and families were invited to a reception to view the artwork and recognize students. February 2024
Walking Oaks
